Disaster Assistance

In 2005, CommunityWorks provided financing to help families recover in the aftermath of severe weather.  Through Bank of North Dakota’s disaster loan program, CommunityWorks performed origination and the initial financing for four loans (totaling $37,837 in financing) that helped homeowners to make necessary repairs to their homes that had been damaged by storms in the past year.  

In addition, CommunityWorks assisted a couple that had been caught in the devastating path of Hurricane Katrina.  By providing them with an affordable mortgage to purchase their home, they were able to start their lives over again in North Dakota.
