Shirley Dykshoorn
Lake Aggasiz Habitat for Humanity, Fargo North Dakota

Shirley Dykshoorn is the Executive Director of Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity based in Moorhead, and serving Cass and Clay Counties. Shirley is a Jamestown native, and lived in Mandan with her late husband for over 25 years, working in state government for 20 years and for Fannie Mae for nearly 8 years, in addition to coordinating a multi-state domestic violence prevention effort for 4 years. 

A graduate of UND with an MPA and a graduate of Jamestown College, Shirley served on the Bismarck/Mandan United Way board, serves as Vice President for Marketplace, serves on the board for the Rural Collaborative and is Past President of the Council of State Community Development Agencies, the North Dakota Democratic/NPL party and Keep North Dakota Clean. 

 Shirley has two grown children and along with her fiancé, Jerry has three grown children. They live in Fargo.
