Statewide Housing Rehabilitation Program

With an Affordable Housing Program grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank-Des Moines, CommunityWorks coordinated a 72-home, $700,000 housing rehabilitation program throughout the state.  The program assisted elderly and low-income homeowners in rural communities and earned CommunityWorks the Award of Excellence from the Federal Home Loan Bank (pictured to the right) in June 2003.

Counties with rehabilitation grant recipients:  Bowman (Bowman-2), Morton (New Salem-8), Oliver (Center-2), Pembina (Crystal-3, Hamilton-3, Neche-2, Pembina-1, St. Thomas-1, Walhalla-1), Pierce (Barton-1, Rugby-8, Wolford-1), Ransom (Enderlin-10), Slope (Amidon-3, Marmarth-5), Towner (Cando-10), and Williams (Williston-11).
